Extra 11 minutesβ sleep each night can reduce heart attack risk, study finds
Minor lifestyle tweaks could deliver outsized protection against heart disease, according to new research. Scientists found that just 11 extra minutes of sleep, 4.5 minutes of brisk walking, and an additional 50g of vegetables daily can cut the risk of heart attacks and strokes by around 10%. Researchers described the cardiovascular benefits as "surprisingly large" given how modest the behavioral shifts required actually are.
