Decades of data now suggest your morning cup does more than wake you up. A 43-year study found that drinking 2β3 cups of caffeinated coffee or 1β2 cups of tea daily was linked to an 18% lower risk of dementia and measurably better cognitive performance over time. Notably, the protective effect held even for those with a genetic predisposition to the disease β making this one of the more compelling dietary findings in brain health research.
